Most condoms are made of superthin latex, to help a man forget that he’s wearing one. But the Origami Condom, one of the designs spotlighted by the Gates Foundation, is intended to be felt. Its accordion-like silicone folds allow it to slip onto the penis more easily than a rolled condom, and generate pleasurable friction while in use. The Origami Condom has a roomier tip than a traditional condom and a lubricated interior, which creates additional tactile sensation as the wearer moves—the difference between wrapping yourself in plastic wrap versus silk sheets.
The designer, Danny Resnic, who began working on the project after a broken condom left him HIV-positive, is developing three types of Origami Condoms: a male version, which is still undergoing trials and modifications and which he plans to market as a gender-neutral “outer condom”; a female version, or “inner condom”; and the first-ever anal condom.

Q:I know you haven't posted in a while but I was wondering about your thoughts on the new Russian laws and how it is affecting the Olympics.
IT INFURIATES ME.
Q:Someone said this to me today "Gay relationships are the same as siblings dating, I mean doesn't every female as well as every male have 50% of the same DNA and grew up together?" It really hurt my feelings. What do you think about this?
WOW, I am so sorry, anon. That’s just messed up. They are a moron and you should suggest that they study genetics and basic biology. Clearly, you aren’t dating your sibling. Gay love=beautiful; incestuous romantic love=wrong. Remember that this person is just IGNORANT and don’t let it get to you. I’m sitting here laughing at how silly they sound.
Keep your head up, bud!
Q:carly i really think we could be good friends, and i admire you so much!!! have only met you like once though :( your just awesome
Hit me up and we’ll be friends!
Rape has become endemic in South Africa, so a medical technician named Sonette Ehlers developed a product that immediately gathered national attention there. Ehlers had never forgotten a rape victim telling her forlornly, “If only I had teeth down there.”
Some time afterward, a man came into the hospital where Ehlers works in excruciating pain because his penis was stuck in his pants zipper.
Ehlers merged those images and came up with a product she called Rapex. It resembles a tube, with barbs inside. The woman inserts it like a tampon, with an applicator, and any man who tries to rape the woman impales himself on the barbs and must go to an emergency room to have the Rapex removed.
When critics complained that it was a medieval punishment, Ehlers replied tersely, “A medieval device for a medieval deed.”

If You Want to be an American, Today is the Day to be One!
Dear loyal followers,
For those unaware of what’s happening today, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has shut down the Defense of Marriage Act of 1996 (DOMA) and Proposition 8. Today, married same-sex couples are now recognized by the federal government!!! Guys, this. is. HUGE.
I, along with millions of LGBTQ people and allies, have been holding our breath as we awaited this beautiful news. June 26th, 2013 is a day that will go down in history.
I know that I’m not getting married anytime soon, but my happiness for my future self is growing the more I think about this incredible news. My happiness for the LGBTQ community is beyond overwhelming and I can promise you that this huge dorky smile plastered on my face will not go away for quite some time.
If you have an LGBTQ family member, friend, peer, coworker, or just someone you see on the street whose conversation you overheard about the news, give them a hug (or just say congrats because some people aren’t big on hugs…not sure why, hugs are so snuggly and loving and today should be all about love, sooooo).
I don’t have any wisdom or insight for today, but I just wanted to express this beautiful, momentous news on WHTH. This jurisdiction has affected millions of couples and families on not only a nation level, but on a global scale, as well.
I encourage you to celebrate and spread the love. NYC Pride is this Sunday, June 30th, and you can find me out there cheering like a lunatic!
Today, I will glide through the day knowing that justice has indeed been served.
No #DOMA, no #Prop8! Today is a banner day for the LGBTQ community and I look forward to more victories in the fight for our right to love!!!
I am literally in my office on the verge of tears! WHAT AN AMAZING DAY TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO OUT AND CELEBRATE!
Love ALWAYS AND FOREVER,
